Classes

Ballet

The base of all dance training, ballet helps dancers to develop coordination, strength, balance, and flexibility.

Competitive/Accelerated Training

This class is for competitive dancers looking to take their technique, flexibility and strength to the next level. With a focus on deep stretching as well as strength and conditioning exercises specific to the developing competitive dancer

this is the class to help dancers achieve their performance goals. There is no recital/competitive routine in this class.

Competitive Accelerated Performance

This class is for competitive dancers who want to take their performance and artistry to the next level. The greatest dancers are those that are not only excellent technicians, but excellent performers and storytellers. This class will focus on performance and will include a competitive routine.

​

Jazz

Jazz is a fundamental dance form that complements all other dance forms. Jazz classes are comprised of a warm-up, centre work and progressions including jumps and turns. Technique and style through choreography are emphasized. Students will learn jazz steps, progressive skills and jazz combinations and routines.

​

Tap

This is a form of dance that focuses on coordination, timing, and syncopated rhythm. Tap is an expression of movement through sound. Dancers will learn choreography by performing rhythm-based steps. 

​

Lyrical

Lyrical is a highly interpretive, expressive, and free-flowing form of dance, wherein the dancer expresses the theme or lyrics of a piece of music through his/her movements.

Contemporary

Contemporary dance is a style of expressive dance that combines elements of several dance genres including modern, jazz, lyrical and classical ballet. Contemporary dancers strive to connect the mind and the body through fluid dance movements.

Hip Hop

Hip Hop is a fast-paced, high-energy form of dance based on street forms of dance. Classes start with a warm-up designed to get the blood pumping and the muscles working and then students will move on to learning and perfecting choreography.

Parent and Tot

Join your little one as they take their first steps across the dance floor. Basic dance steps are learned through fun and creative movement. Dancers will learn to march, jump, hop and skip as well as combine steps into fun and engaging dance routines. This is a wonderful class for bonding, self-expression, and developing a sense of independence through music and movement with their best friend by their side.

 

Adult Dance - Drop-In or monthly

Cardio and dance come together in this fun, fast-paced class. Progress through a warm-up, across the floor, and combinations. In this jazz-based class you'll be sweating and smiling the whole hour!
