For over 40 years the Wainwright Dance Academy has been bringing the joy of dance to the Wainwright community. As we move into the 2023 season we have shifted from a board run organization, to a director run studio to provide the best studio experience for our dance families possible.

WDA offers competitive and recreational dance opportunities to dancers of all ages. Classes are offered in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Pointe, Musical Theatre, adult dance fitness and more! We have also expanded to offer daytime pre-school dance classes for Wainwright's littlest dancers!

Throughout the dance season our dancers build confidence, coordination, strength, flexibility, musicality, and artistry though technical classes and performance opportunities. Each year our dancers perform in the spring recital where they get to take the stage and showcase their hard work! Ballet students also have the opportunity to perform in an annual holiday performance of "The Nutcracker".
